Go behind the scenes of our latest VR shoot!
FirstCar have been working with Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service to produce a series of three short VR films, designed to raise awareness of vulnerable road users. The short and snappy 360 films are ideal for mass circulation on social media and feature scenarios involving pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists. Each film starts with a sequence where both the driver and vulnerable road user could be doing things better – then after the inevitable consequence is shown, we rewind and see how things could have ended differently.
To hammer-home the actionable tips, the second half of each film sees the messages presented to camera by both our driver and vulnerable road user. Unlike other VR films, which are designed to be delivered in conjunction with a live road safety workshop, these films can stand alone and therefore have the potential to reach the mass social media audience – even internationally.
Take a look at some of our behind the scenes snaps to get a preview of this new film series, which will launch over the next few weeks. You’ll notice we used stunt people for each scene and as always, are films are produced on closed roads.
FirstCar recently worked with the British Horse Society to produce the Dead Slow VR campaign, which from the BHS Facebook page along has been shared 3,500 times and viewed by over 145,000 people.
